Sulfonamides residues (SAs) rapid test dipstick (honey)
Catalog No. LSY-20040
1. Brief
This product is used for testing Sulfonamides residue in honey sample. The total test time only need 10 min. Easy to operate, high sensitivity.

3. Specifications: 8 dipsticks/bottle, 12 bottles/box
4. Principle
The Sulfonamides rapid test dipstick is based on competitive inhibition immuno-chromatographic principle. In the flow process, Sulfonamides in the sample combined with Sulfonamides specific colloidal gold-labeled monoclonal antibody, Inhibit the combination between antibody and Sulfonamides-BSA conjugate on Test line of NC membrane, lead to the color change of Test line.
Judge the results quickly by reading the color change of Control line and Test line.

6. Sample preparation
1) Weigh 3±0.05g honey, add 3ml deionized water, shake for 2min;
2) Add 7ml Ethyl acetate, shake for 5min, centrifuge at 4000r/min for 5min;
3) Take 4ml up-layer liquid into glass tube, blow to dry at 56℃by air or nitrogen;
4) Add 0.5ml n-hexane, shake to dissolve the dry residue (if do not dissolve the residue completely, it may lead to the result unstable), then add 0.45ml sample buffer, shake to even for 30s, be stable until layered, absorb out the up-layer(if appear emulsion, centrifuge at 4000r/min for 5min);
5) Absorb 200ul down-layer liquid (water layer), ready to test. (Avoid absorb the up-layer liquid).
7.Operation procedures
7.1 Read the instruction carefully before use. Return test dipsticks and sample into room temperature.
7.2 Take bottles needed from the kit package, take out required micro-wells and dipsticks, making proper marks. Seal the cap of the bottles, avoid moisture. (Please use these test dipsticks within 1h.)
7.3 Take 200ul of the test samples into the micro-wells, then repeatedly absorb for 5 times, mix the sample with the reagent in the micro-wells completely until no solid judge by eyes (this is a very important step).
7.4 Incubate for 5min at room temperature (20-25℃), insert the test dipsticks into the micro-wells with the "MAX" end fully dipped in to the mixture solution.
7.5 Incubate for 5-8min at room temperature again, read the result, it is invalid in other time.
8. Test Result Interpretation
8.1 Negative: C line appears, T line is darker than C line, or T line has same color with C line. It means there is no Sulfonamides residue in sample or the residue is lower than detection limit.
8.2 Positive: C line appears, T line is obviously lighter than C line or T line is invisible. It means the Sulfonamides residue is equal to or higher than detection limit.
8.3 Invalidation: C line isn’t seen wine red. It means the test card is out of efficacy, out of date or improper operation. Please run the test again using another package. If the invalid tests keep happening, please contact the supplier.
9.Specificity
This product has no cross reaction with Tetracyclines, Quinolones, Streptomycin etc.
10.Precautions
1) The test strip can be used only once at room temperature, do not use test strip out of expiry date.
2) Do not repeat use disposable tip, to avoid cross pollution.
3) Do not touch the white membrane surface in the middle of test strip, avoid sunlight and fan blowing directly.
4) Tap water, distilled water and deionized water can not treat as negative control.
5) Please contact the supplier for any questions.
11.Storage and expiry date
Storage: Store at 4-8 ℃ in dark, sealed, dry place, no frozen.
Expiry date: 12 months; date of production is on box.
